GRAYMATTER is a flexible, intumescent fireproof seal made from the expanding material in fire, graphite. When exposed to the flames, the thermoplastic matrix expands at least 30 times its original thickness. The microporous layer formed during the expansion process prevents flames, smoke, and hot gases from passing through the gaps in fire-resistant components.

APPLICATION SCENARIO

Fireproof expansion strips are suitable for perimeter sealing in fire protection systems (doors, shutters, valves, cabinets, partitions, cable passages, etc.) and enhance the fire resistance of building components.

USAGE SUGGESTIONS

Fireproof sealant suitable for construction and industrial applications such as door frames, wall gaps, and cable wall penetrations.
It is recommended to embed it directly into the gaps, where it will rapidly expand during the early stages of a fire to form a sealing barrier.
Suitable for scenarios requiring a fire resistance of 60 minutes or more, and complies with the req-uirements of major fire protection building codes.
Standard roll packaging (each roll is 20m long, width can be customized).
Use moisture-proof plastic bags or vacuum packaging to ensure the stability of the materials during transportation and storage.
Store in a dry, ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures.
Recommended storage temperature is between 0℃ and 30℃.
The shelf life is 2 years under standard storage conditions.
Avoid heavy objects pressing on it to prevent material damage; avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances to prevent affecting its fire-resistant properties.

BYZHI INSULATED FIRE-RESISTANT EXPANSION STRIP

BYZHI C is a heat-insulating fireproof expansion strip, made by filling white material with a small amount of organic components. It is used for filling cavities in profiles such as PVC, aluminum alloy, steel, and polyurethane. When exposed to high temperatures, the vinyl film melts, and the white material expands to form a soft, non-combustible foam layer. This layer blocks a large amount of heat radiation and slows down the temperature rise of the profile, ensuring the fire resistance integrity and heat insulation performance of the profile fire protection system. Under high temperatures, the expansion of the white material can exceed 10 times its initial volume, and the expansion pressure can reach 1.2 N/mm², providing an effective barrier. As the fire temperature rises, the mechanical strength of the white material gradually increases, providing good support to the system.

USAGE SUGGESTIONS

1. Storage Requirements
Keep stored in a cool, dry environment (such as a dry warehouse) and avoid environmental factors like humidity that may affect product performance.
2. Installation and Usage Precautions
Please keep the surface vinyl film during installation. This film can enhance the product’s resistance to environmental impacts, extend the service life of the sealing strip, and will not affect the product’s performance. It does not need to be removed and can be used directly. BYZHI C may undergo slight deformation under load (including its own weight), which can automatically conform to the shape of the supporting structure; this is a normal characteristic.
3. Packaging Method
The product is packaged in cardboard or wooden boxes to ensure protection during transportation and storage.

PHYSICAL DISPLAY

A new fireproof and thermal insulation material developed based on the hybrid aerogel principle, made from a mixture of various inorganic materials.
At a temperature of 20℃-40℃, it is easy to cut and stamp.
Expands at 100℃, and the product volume can expand to 8-15 times its original volume.
The expansion pressure can reach up to 1.5 N/mm².
