The ventilated fire-retardant expansion net is a newly developed and manufactured material for fire prevention, fire extinguishing, and explosion protection in cables.
The entire material is composed of internationally certified fiber flame-retardant PVC foam and high-strength aramid or glass fiber with a strength greater than 25 grams/denier.
It can effectively prevent fires caused by cable insulation issues and external factors, as well as prevent the splattering that occurs during cable explosions.
When flame-retardant or non-flame-retardant cables are exposed to the heat of a fire, they tend to carbonize or burn.
However, ventilated fireproof intumescent meshes, made with PVC foaming materials attached to aramid fibers, react to heat by rapidly expanding.
As the material continues to expand, it can effectively prevent flames from damaging the cables themselves, and thereby effectively safeguarding the cables in the fire hazards.
The ventilated fireproof intumescent mesh is equipped with high-strength aramid or glass fibers.
In the event of a sudden cable explosion, its high explosive-resistant properties, which from the strength of effectively protecting, can prevent debris from being thrown, effectively protecting other nearby cables and equipment from damage and safeguarding construction personnel on site.
The ventilated fireproof expandable mesh is small in size and lightweight, adopting a wrapping installation method.
It is very portable and quick to install, whether in cable trenches or cable wells.
Even when laying new cables, it only requires unwrapping the new fireproof mesh, laying the new cables, and then re-wrapping it.
The material itself does not pose safety risks to workers generating heat during operation.
The ventilated fireproof intumescent material is designed with a mesh structure, which facilitates air circulation, allowing the heat generated by the cables during operation to dissipate into the environment in a timely manner, thereby reducing the cable temperature and extending the cable lifespan.
